The best bench. Cleeve Hill looking down on Cheltenham racecourse. Go there one day, whatever your age, sit there and reflect on how good life is, but remember those who you have lost, and those who are not as fortunate as yourself.

For so many punters the Cheltenham Festival a meeting like no other.
As I've said before, I have no idea about National Hunt racing, especially those heading to Cheltenham. I can hardly tell you a name of a leading contender. However, that doesn't mean I'm not excited by the thought of classy horses winning.
There is definitely something special about Cheltenham.
I can't say I'd like to go there even though many would pay a bundle of cash to get to the course. The hustle and bustle which makes the occasion isn't my cup of tea. In fact, I wonder how long it would take to get a beer and even more fearful of how difficult it would be to get to the toilet. So, give me a quiet meeting at Great Yarmouth any day of the week.
One race I always enjoy is the Triumph Hurdle. It's a race that most punters fear as it's usually a giant field and it doesn't take much to come down the field.
Bookmakers will be giving lots of free bets and promotional incentives to get new accounts opened.
In recent years the Irish raiders have taken the limelight and it will probably be the same come March.
Whether you watch for fun or bet to make some cash it's an enjoyable time for race fans and I will be making the most of the meeting.
Good luck to all.
